$381 for a set of 4.44 gears doesnt look bad to me....4.44 Gears

Thats what i was thinking too. Maybe the 4.875 is the same as the J's unit, except J's rounds it off to 4.9 and the same goes with the 5.125 being the same as J's 5.1. This of course, is all speculation .

Hmm, I remember our discussion about this a year back. I know it was stated that the gears were made by Mazda. But I thought we said they were in the Kia. Did we ever figure out if the Miata/Rx7 had the same gears?

4.77 are available through Kia. 4.44 and 4.875 through mazda.

to my knowledge, mazda and kia are together. so the 4.77 kia spectra gear is available at the mazda dealerships.

How much was acceleration improved with the 4.57 you installed? was it what you expected or more?
