Hope you can make Chazmageddon
Hi folks,
I posted about this months ago in the planning section, so here's the link: original thread
I hope you can make it. If you can, and you want directions, etc. post here or in the other thread (or PM me).
I'm expecting to have a fun blowout over at my house. Folks from s2ki are coming from all over the US (and the world, actually -- Superbabe (Vanessa) is coming from Germany, Shareall (Cheryl) is coming from Canada, vtecmom is coming from WA -- which is far enough away to qualify as another country, zdave87 is coming from Florida -- which is like another country, WestSideBilly is coming from Indiana -- which might as well be another country.
). This is promising to be a really fun day. My pool is open and ready for business, so bring a suit... a bathing suit that is -- party suits won't be on until later on
The party will start in the early afternoon (1-2ish??), and run all day and well into the night. I'm catering dinner/lunch at around 4pm. I think I'll make this a BYOB deal for you guys as there's no way I can please everyone. A number of the folks from out of town will be sleeping over my place or at local hotels.
If you have any special dietary needs, please let me know and maybe I can work that into the caterer order.
Oh, and I guess I'd say the party will be family friendly through the afternoon, but I'm sending my kids to their grandparents in the evening, and I'd rather not be worried about kids in the pool after dark...

There are several women from the Corner coming to the party, guys. I don't have pix of Vanessa, but there's some sort of montage of folks over in the Corner. AZWILDCATS (from metro NYC) is going to be there. VTECMOM is also coming from Washington state!
Lesley, Mitch, Motoo, and Jeff (west side billY) and some other folks from the central states will be there. zDave from Florida too...
