July meet
I will be back in town starting July 1st. It is time for another meet.
I think Hammond was up for next dinner, but they got to do the crawfish boil
I think it is time to come back to new orleans.....
here is the question?
1)2nd or third weekend?
2)voodoo barbque, or do we want to do an afternoon picnic?
speak now before I make all of the decisions

yeah, i may be travelling the first week of July... so, a little later might be better for me as well...
something new in N.O. as best i can recall, we've done Zeas, Voodoo BBQ, an Outback....
suggestions?

I have never been to the one in NO so I don't know if this is a good location, but I have had meetings at the Fox and the Hound in BR and it seemed to be a good mix of food and fun.

Maybe we could call and see if they have a room that we could reserve? This may be too short of notice to pull off something like that. Just thrpwing out ideas

Fox n the hound is a great idea. We actually tried that 2 years ago but succumbed to the call of steak.
there is one off of clearview down by the huey p long bridge. Huge parking lot and lots of pool tables....
WE HAVE A WINNER. now we need numbers, will aim for either thursday,fri,sat, or sund afternoon.

Hey guys! Are we talking the 3rd Saturday, 16th? If so, I think we can make that! I've never been to the Fox n' Hound - is that in Elmwood? My mom lives just across the river.
I'm dying for some crawfish & crabs but I guess we can get some Sunday. It'll be cool to meet the gang in NOLA.

I am in for a Friday or Saturday in July. Once we naild down a date maybe we could reserve a room. I bet we would need only 10 people.
The only down side is I didn't see any kids when I went. I am not sure if they are allowed on Saturday nights.
