Default Vic, about those italian horns...

Vic, I always wanted to do the italian air horn mod. Is this the horn you installed?

Oh and what size fuse did you upgrade with?

Yep, thats the horn George
When i bought this, i had heard on here that the S has 2 horns and i was confused cuz i could only find one horn on my S (in front of the radiator in the grill opening)

So come to find out, the 00-01 has one horn, and the 02 and up has 2 horns from the factory. Your 2nd horn should be located up by the passenger side shock tower i belive from the pics ive seen here. Moses has this horn as well, and when i was trying to install this he helped me a bit. Maybe he will chime in here and give you some insight as well since he has a newer S with the 2 horns. Also, he stated that he blew the 1st horn fuse (10amp under hood) and after that he never blew one again. In my case, maybe cuz i only had one horn, i kept blowing the stock 10a fuse. Worried about the circuit, i asked about this here i think you might remember i posted a thread awhile back on this. Anyway, i asked my mechanic as well and he stated that moving up to a 15a should be ok and to try it. Long and behold, i installed the 15a and i never blew a fuse again.

The horn install was a piece of cake. All you need is a electrical connector assortment and crimpers. If i can be of any assistance, let me know! Also, sign up for the Griots Garage Free catalog if you havent already, OR they will just send you one with your order.

I honestly think this is probably the best "bang for the buck" mod ive done. I really love the sound of this thing! I love it when someone cuts me off, comes close to me etc just enough reason to honk the horn. OR to just honk it as i go by friends or that tall leggy blonde or brunette crossing the street

Are you kidding me
The thing is Tiny compared to some of the other airhorns on the market. Doesnt sound anything like a fire-truck, its a different sound much like a Ferrari horn if youve ever heard one. Up until recently, i could only find this type of horn In Europe and if i didnt find this, i wouldve probably got a Fiamm horn in Portugal and modified it to a bracket to the S. This is DEF the smallest Air-horn ive ever seen! But dont let the size fool you, this is just as loud as the others ive heard. Besides, we have plenty of room in our engine compartment for the install

Funny how everyone i know who hears this thing wants to get one and asks where i got it. Its a great mod for the $

By the way George, the relay pictured is not required for our cars.

Not quite THAT loud. I think a firetruck uses multiple horns going off at once and its a little obnoxious. This is 2 horns,2 tones together for a nice loud Trumpet "Baahhhhhhh" sound. Sure beats the oem "beep beep" roadrunner sound of the Honda horns
