Default which strut bar clears comptech s/c w aftercooler?

Guys,
I'm going to get a strut bar, but need some help about informations of which strut bar will clear the Comptech S/C w aftercooler?
Other than the Comptech Ti Strut bar definitely.

Thank you for all the informations.

Comptech aluminum is the only one I believe. I wanted the ARC STB, but I dont think it will fit. Im not 100% sure the Comptech Titanium one does. Ive never heard or seen it, but I couldnt imagine Comptech making parts that dont clear their own supercharger.

This is the titanium strut bar I am referring to
http://www.comptechusa.com/store/150035.html
But, I rather prefer something like Cusco but unfortunately they don't fit.

Anything else will fit other than the Comptech? Where can we get the old style comptech aluminium strut bar by the way. I believe they have it in red color also.
That might work too.

Ryan. the ARC has a slight rake on it, but I can't see how it would be enough to clear... there isn't much play in it either to adj. it.

It sure doesn't fit on my vortech sc, so I believe it will be the same with the comptech.

Does anybody know what strut bar will also fit on a vortech?

Still looking for one, I want that old good feeling back,

Andreas

I have a Cusco strut brace, and it fits just fine with my Comptech aftercooled kit...sorta...

The thing is, you have to hack up the upper back part of the airbox to get it to clear...otherwise, it fits just fine, and doesn't get in the way of the aftercooler fill plug like on the Vortech kits...

I don't have any pics available, but "Dut" had a similar setup (Comptech intake instead of S/C, but you'll get the idea)...see pics here: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.ph...pic=210039&hl=

Ya I had it with the Comptech CAI and it took some clever dremel work. I was just wondering about clearing the Aftercooler.

i believe the only STB that's designed to clear the comptech SC and AC is the Comptech Ti STB. because i have one and it cleared the comptech SC and AC perfectly.
