Two great candidates but ultimately you can only choose one! We'll run this for a few days and see how it goes. If it's close I'll run it for a full week (till next Friday) but if it becomes a forgone conclusion we'll save time and close early.

Ron has pulled out a lead it seems. I'm going to screen all the votes and make sure they are from SD people now. If you aren't from SD don't vote on this poll because it's not going to count, I'll remove it.

We'll see what the new tally is in a few minutes.

UPDATE: I've reviewed the votes and they are all from San Diego except one which is borderline so I'll allow it. All of the first 27 votes count I'm shocked and pleased

Things are still pretty close so I'll leave it open until noon Friday (July 8th). In addition I'm going to send out emails to all of the members in San Diego ZIP codes to remind them of the vote (there are 124). We are very close to pulling this off and I'm really happy for everyone in SD. The forum has been a huge success IMHO and the club and badge are going to be the cherry on top. Thanks to PeterBin for taking the time to call me a while back and discuss the situation to arrive at where we are.

Don't forget that my phone # is posted at the bottom of every page under Contact Us and I'm happy to take any of your calls if you want to chat. It's ironic that it has taken so long and that we've suffered so in my very own locality. It has been more than a bit embarrassing but I see good time ahead.
