My first SCCA race report....
Its been a long week........
Mid June: I had hoped to make this weekends SCCA Double Regional but I had just been working too much and I thought there was no way I could make it. I had too much shit to do to the car and too little free time to do it

Sounds like you need to completely go over your car so you can spend less time wrenching at the track 
I thought I was having a bad time this weekend with 5 DNFs of 6 runs at one autoX and than my buddy edging me out of FTD on his last run at the other autoX but you certainly had more hurdles to jump over and you still ended on a high note. Congrats on the finish.
