Default You weren't kidding about the crank pulley

Today I finally got the crank pulley tool so the install was resumed. I fastened the tool to my STB bracket and used a snap on socket wrench with their extensions bar (3 feet) After tuggin and pulling until I was beyond red *CRACK* it gave way... Or did it? After getting up (thown backwards into the wall when it gave) I saw that the extension bar actually broke at the joint. I could not believe it! Luckily it was enough to break the bolt free... I still can't believe how hard that was on there.

Damn, I finally gave in and bought the Moroso tool for the crank pulley. I couldn't find anyone remotely close to me that had the tool for me to borrow. The local honda dealerships' technichians didn't even carry the tool. sigh* hopefully this moroso tool works or im $80 in the hole.

curious if i would need the total to remove the crank pulley (selling the ctsc) if the entire motor is being removed? if so, can i borrow one from those that have purchased it? i will pay for shipping both ways of course.

thanks in advance
