Default Degreeing camshafts

I'm sure most of you are aware of my performance issues I've been having since installing my second set of Toda camshafts. After discussions with someone on this board that has intimate knowledge of the F20C, I decided it might be valuable to "degree" my camshafts. I created a thread on the UTH forum, and I've also done some research on my own... and it looks like this is not something beyond my capabilities, but it is something with which I would like assistance from someone that has experience (and hopefully even the tools) required for degreeing cams on an F20C (or at least a DOHC setup that's similar).

Anyone here have the knowledge/experience/tools for doing that, or am I exploring uncharted territory?

I've never done it, but here is a website with detailed instructions and offers the equipment you need in a kit:

Cam Degreeing Help

I'd be interested in learning the procedure, since cams are on my long term shopping list. Do you have adjustable cam gears?

Also, is Toda still continuing to make S2000 parts? If not, do you know why? I surfed over to the website and couldn't find anything except a flywheel for the S2000.

Yeah, as far as I know, they're the only ones making adjustable cam gears for the S2000. I don't have them yet, but am thinking about getting a set, if I can determine whether or not they'll help my case.

I'm honestly considering taking off all my mods and going back to stock, just to rule out any other possible issue. Then, installing the cams by themselves to see if I can get them to make power. Then adding all the other go-fast parts.

Desperate times call for desperate measures. Plus, it will give me something to do over the off-season this winter.

I just wish there was an easy way to determine if these cams are spec'd properly. I'm sure there is, I just don't know how.

You'll probably need an adapter to fit a degree wheel to the front of the engine. I had to make one for my Prelude engine.

The F2xC and the H22A (in the pics) are going to be very similar in this respect (need an adapter). The H22A one should work if Billy cares to post details on what you need (or want to borrow/rent his).

Goodson degree wheel, a (hard to find) 16x1.25 (IIRC) bolt, and two machined pieces I made on my lathe. The bolt was hard to find until I called Metric Multistandard.
