Who in this forum has the fastest S2000? and what does it run the 1/4 in ...? anyone in the 11's or 12's? if so list your mods and track times .. thanks......

Yeah derryck's got a turbo, and has run a 12.1

 

Yep, 12.1. Crossing my fingers for 11's, shouldn't be a problem other than traction issues.

Are you running into the same problems the SC guys are...drive train failures?

 

No drivetrain issues so far and I don't forsee any. No more high RPM clutch dumps. The power comes on early and is very smooth. I'm still running the stock clutch but am going to be going with an aftermarket clutch very soon.

 

derryck, how do you launch the car?

 

I hold in thc clutch, press the accelerator and release the clutch. Just kidding. I dump the clutch at about 4000 RPM's.
