hey does anybody out there own one of these intakes or have a dyno chart for it? for less than 200 dollars it seems like a good buy and it looks cool too. opinions?

 

I had one a while back. It's a great intake, easy install. It's the loudest/deepest intake on the market for the S2000 Makes VTEC crossover more violent if you like that (I did), it gives better throttle response. It may suffer heat bog in stop and go traffic but even the stock airbox does too. I dynoed 207hp 143tq on a dynojet in the summertime. It doesn't come with a mounting bracket to secure it so you have to figure something out.

 

I have a weapon-r intake also... It cost me less then 100 bucks. Dunno about power gains, but it certainly sounds mean.

My kit from dragon automotive came with everything I needed.

 

and the weapon r is not a cai located outside of the engine compartment right? so no hydrolock there..??

 

you wouldnt be bale to make me a sound clip would you? if not thats okay. do you have that heat shield thing? or just the intake

 

which weapon r is the better model (Dragon Intake, Hyper Intake, Secret Weapon Intake). the secret weapon is about $215 while the others are around $130..
