Check out walmart. I am going to the redline track events at the streets of willow springs this sat, and I was able to get a Bell helmet for around $78. It is DOT and SA 2005.

Not that I'd ever shop there but Walmart sells SA helmets?

You can buy helmets online at www.helmetcity.com or www.racerwholesale.com etc.

Your best bet is to post in the Socal forum to find a place local to you so that you can try many of them on and see what fits. Helmets are all made different and much like shoes, fit and size vary from manufacturer to manufacturer.
