Thumbs up In-line Electric Supercharger

This topic may have already been brought up, so sorry up front if this is a repeat.
Has anyone heard of or know naything about them. A friend says he put one on his "Z" and said it works great. I am somewhat sceptical of something that is only $175.00 when you hear of superchargers selling for $5000.00 or more.

I have heard that theory is correct and probly could do something if the rpm of it was varied with that of the engine, but to my knowlege they dont do anything...

These are nothing more then a gimmick. They can actually restrict air speeds and drop horsepower. There is a awesome write up about it on Homemadeturbo.com under there tech page.

I'd make an educated guess that the product is a load of crap

If you combine it with the turbonater, you can get over 200hp EXTRA!! Add the tornado intake thing and it shoots up to 275hp, giving you a 515hp S2000! Fast enough to take the new Z06.

Not only that but it'll increase your fuel economy 30-50%! Do it! I have three on mine. One for each working cylinder.

I'm sorry, but none of this crap works unless you also have the fuel line magnets.
