Paid $2.85 for 93 octane tonight, but some stations are at $2.95 or so. We'll be there soon.

$3.20 in Santa Barbara, CA on Sunday night!

$3.24 Palo Alto, CA this morning (Tuesday).

I don't really think we should complain though, because I was in France/Germany earlier this month, and it was US$6.28 per gallon.

When I lived in Taiwan the last 2 years, it was always around US$2.60 per gallon, even when it was cheap here, and people there make 1/3 of what they make here. Normalized for what people make for an accurate comparison, it costs them the equivalent of what US$7.80 per gallon would be here.

(All prices for premium)

We could all move to Saudi Arabia and pay less than a buck.
