They tried to steal my seat!
Roof slashed and the center console was broken open, but nothing was stolen. Cds, radio, amp, and change were all left behind. My guess is that they tried to find the key to the seat locks in the console. When they didn't they gave up.
So now we'll see how long it takes to get everything fixed. Man this sucks.

Sorry this happened...what a bummer. Glad they didn't succeed in getting your seats, but unfortunately, did damage in the process.
Do you mind if I ask where your car was parked?
For the noob - You have to purchase seat locks. They do not come on the car. Quite a few threads on the site about them.

Anyone have any experience with any local shops that can replace the top?

Sorry for having to deal with that crap.
Did you have the Seat Lock Sticker on your window as well? (I dont know if they came with all the orders?) Just wondering if that didnt deter them at all. Also can you tell if they tried to mess with the locks at all?

I'm glad in their failure they didn't decide to also slash the seats.
Having anything stolen stinks. Unfortunately, I know this first hand- my custom redone OEM seats were stolen while the car was in for repairs... yes, while at the body shop.
