i talked to him yesterday and he asked me to make a thread about this. he was driving his truck in the rain and hit another truck. it was the other guy's fault and john's car had major damage. the other guy was a kid and he was driving his dad's car without a driver's license. his car is being repaired right now and should be ready sometime in the next few days. he tried everything he could to get ahold of a truck that could tow his s2000 to houston to remove the parts, but couldn't find anything like it. he's gonna wait for his car to be ready and take it up to houston on the weekend (can't remember if it was this weekend or next weekend).

he also said he's been very busy with work. his company is trying something new and he was out of town for training last week.

i need to go, so i couldn't make this long and detailed. if you guys have any questions, just give him a call or send him a PM.

I just want to make a comment to this.
I don't know the guy well, but I did buy things from him.
Throught out the whole deal we communicated through PM and phone.
When I talked to him on the phone, he was very polite and professional.
We had some issues with the shipping, which was 100% my fault but he went out of his way to make things right.
He did have problems with his truck like i said before, so there were problems with getting the product to Fedex.
Here is a picture of his truck. It could be anyones truck but he seems legit.


I know he should still be answering PM's since he still has access to a computer.
But overall I will Vouch for the guy. He was a Great seller to me.

He is a good member of the community. I just dont know what fell apart this time. A little communication goes a long way. That is John's truck, because that looks like the same background that John shoots all the pictures of his S at (his house). I dont think that most are feeling that they got screwed, but rather frustrated about having to wait for their parts and the lack of communication.

I think 20 seconds to post on his part would go a long way with big $$ items in the air; I don't think he needs a go-fer to do it. I don't know him nor did I buy anything, but hope members get their stuff soon.

John's a good guy but I agree that he should have taken the time to contact moyopoyo earlier or post since he is holding other peoples money in limbo.

i got a same reply as accordr33 with a picture but how come he receives his shipment and i don't?

my shipment was supposed to arrive 2 weeks ago. I dont blame John for this situation. Shit happens to everyone and I am sure he has a legit excuse.

I just dont wanna deal with waiting anymore.

 

I spoke with John yesterday since I'm waiting for a part from him as well. He thinks he will be able to come in to Houston this Sunday to part out his car. I will hopefully see him either on Sunday if I can sneak off work or on Monday at the latest.
