Default Link to PICS up....

I was told by another member on the boards that you(Spoon8) may have put an 00-03 rear bumper in place of your stock 04 bumper. I'm looking to do the same thing by the end of next week, but I have never heard of anyone going in the reverse direction. Heard of many changes to 04 rears, but not the other way around. I was wondering, if you really have done this, what kind of alterations were required in order for this swap to work? I was told by xviper hat to fir an 04 on the pre-S models a spacer is required because the 04 extends out further. Did you have to shave off, or take out any built in spacer from the 04 to swap into the pre-04 model rear? any cutting involved? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Oh and I'm hoping my source that told me you had done this wasn't wrong or else this post is kind of pointless....unless there is someone else that may be able to help answer my questions.

Thankx in advance.

actually I did, but only after I posted this thread. I found his handle a little later on. He has already pm'ed me back, and acording to him it's a direct replacement. No modifications were done what so ever. We'll see what happens, I'll let everyone know. Maybe I can take some pics and do a nice write up on it.
