Default Wheel Repair Shops in NoVa Area

Does anyone know of a good place that can repair scratched wheels? If anyone has had this done, about how much does it cost? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
E

Eric, everyone always says Ye Ole Wheel Shop in MD. Usually though, they're backlogged.

Are you referring to your new wheels? Did they come in yet?

Yes, unfortunately I am referring to the new wheels. It was a result of bad luck. While the wheels were in transit a couple of lug nuts got loose from their packing and marked up one of the wheels.

They arrived last night. I am very excited to have them and can't wait to get them on the car once I get this fixed. It was worth the wait.

Are they in Elkridge, MD? Seems like I saw a sign for some wheel repair place on RT 1 in Elkridge, but that was a few yrs ago. Anyone have a # or website for them?

Thanks for the help Skip. The wheels are adonized black, and it appears that I need to send it back to Kinesis for repair.

This is just rumor, but my understanding that MD shop has somewhat of a bad reputation. I've talked to them on the telephone and they were "terse" to say the least.

I shipped off two bent/scratched Cadillac CTS wheels to Detroit Wheel & Tire Shop in MI and they were back to me in a flash. I only had them repaired, not restored. Repaired and restored to like-new condition costs about $125 (I think).

Ask for Mike, tell them I sent you.

Cheers,
