Default GB - CF Snorkle anyone?

Guys, I've been in email convo with a guy in the US re CF Spoon style intakes and wanted to see what interest there might be on here.
I have never dealt with this bloke before but originally found him on ebay (1469 / 95.2%) - better than no history I guess.

I havent seen one in flesh and having asked about fitting got this as a reply...
"we've seen it fit all MY's (for the newer MY, there's a little inside bumper grille you need to remove)".

$200 shipped for 1
$550 shipped for 3
$700 shipped for 4

6-8 weeks delivery (claims made to order).

Anyone interested? Bit of a gamble but v good price (and yeah not the tidiest CF)..

I can ask

Anyone else got any Q's? I'll consolidate them all into a single email to him rather than bug him every 20 mins...

What does it do exactly? Will it improve sound?! Help stop kangaroo-ing?

Cheers

Um well bum - I've got a new Muz intake in theory coming to me. Any idea of timescales, as if the Muz won't fit and these are decent i would be interested!

Has he got pics of them fitted, and what does he consider to be a reasonable bonnet displacement on an 04 car?

Well, He has suggested 6 to 8 weeks which includes production, shipping to him and then shipping to UK. He had one in stock which has just sold, claims due to the amount of CF used they are strictly made to order as he rarely is asked for one. I have no idea where they are made - could be HK? he's just the middle man.

He's been quick to respond to emails and has provided me an address for payment. Going to have to be cautions as I think he wants 100% up front but im sure we can come to an agreement.

*** update on price ***

$550 ($183 each) shipped for 3, and $700 shipped for 4 ($175 each)

I've got one fitted and the real answer is no and no! My car still kangaroos like a mo-fo and I feel the only way to avoid this is to insulate the airbox which I can't be bothered to do. I have the spoon snorkle with a K&N filter and its maybe a little louder. What it does do is get good clean, cold air when on the move and this is why I bought it

Same question?

It looks like a pre 04 model.. does it have the cut out for the 04/05 brace and photos of a fitted one would be good to see.
