I'm sure there must be an easier way, but you can go to that album and go to each picture and delete one picture at a time. Once the album is empty, you can then delete the album.

There has got to be an easier way. Because I don't have the time to delete the pictures one at a time. You should be able to delete the whole folder at once.

Also you should be able to move them from folder to folder. That too would help.

But we are just lucky it works. But I know S2ki.com could use the space.

There is no way to delete an album except to empty it by deleting each photo in turn and then recycling the album for some other use but there is no way to delete a group of photos or an entire album of photos at one time nor can you delete an album (empty or otherwise) at all.

This is not by my design it just is that way right now. The gallery is being totally redone from scratch for v5, all my own design and code, not something prepackaged and shoe-horned to fill the hole. The features you request are in there as are a truckload of others that are going to make the gallery a joy to use. We are still a couple of weeks out.

There is no package currently available that will give use what we want (as users because I use the gallery too) or that integrates and scales with the size of our site. At about 200,000 photos we are off the "normal" scale. The only way to get what we want is to build it ourselves. We've tried 4 different packages of software, 3 paid for and 1 free, and every time we've ended up making massive changes to it to make it work. One package was so bad it was never released, just worked on and then discarded as a total waste of time.

About 2 months ago I spent 2 solid weeks (about 100+ hours in total) doing nothing but overhauling the gallery software we have to make it at least livable. The gallery is the one thing that will see the biggest and most substantial improvement in v5 as it is (regrettably) the thing that needs the most improvement. It's also a benefit of paid membership and that makes it a big priority.

We don't need space. I just added 1000GB for the gallery two months ago and can add another pretty quickly when the need arises. There is still a significant amount of storage space available.

Hang in there. Your patience will be rewarded.
