Thumbs up Thursday I got my new exhaust...

Spugen.... well after only a couple miles.... I'm not sure of it.

I wanted one step over stock, just a little more sound.

I think its loud.... 4-5 steps over stock If I wasn't almost 40....

I have done my time with attention getting exhaust
test pipes...

Hmmmmm....

I't has a good throay sound
nice finish
Oval tips, mufflers

Who else has the Spugen?, whats your take did you feel it a level of sound you could except
for driving every day

Magnaflow is down the street... I'll go there and ask about their mufflers

SPUGEN owners please let me know what you think of yours

I felt exactly the same way! It is a bit too loud but most of all it's droning
With all the positive comments on this forum and a reasonable price I thought it would be the best deal. But after the installation I wished I just had replaced the mufflers with Magnaflows. One way to reduce the noise level supposedly is to use the OEM resonator incl. the Helmholtz resonator (that little tube rectangular to the main pipe). I will try that probably next year.

I like the sound of mine. I have the Spugen V2. It's loud, but not as loud as the Invidia. It takes a little to get use to. I remember the first day I had it. I thought it was crazy loud compared to stock. But I'm use to it now.

Why don't you try welding another resonator into the exhaust? You could also buy a cheap straight through muffler (See: Dynomax Ultra-Flo) and weld that in somewhere and not loose too much power.
