Hey everyone. I had some unlucky experiences with my s and i want to talk about it. 3 days ago there were 2 or 3 bird shits on my left door and i was too busy and lazy to clean it i left it in the garage for 3 days. then i took my car to washing and i saw that those bird shits were still there . so i took it to wax . but after the wax there were some stuff still left there . but when i lloked at it closer i got mad and i had a fight with the cleaning guy . because he burnt the god damn paint because of too much heat. now theres a two finger big white place in my left door. everytime i open my door i see it and i feel so bad. please be careful with your car the paint is very thin so if possible dont use the waxing machine. and watchout for the bird shits. and one more thing should i repaint my car ? it doesnt look to bad but i feel bad when i see it take good care of your s everyone

I feel for you man. Bird shit is bad, very acidic. I used to leave tree sap on my old Acura Integra during the summer, and then when I finally got around to washing it, there were a bunch of permamnt stains in the hood that I couldn't remove even with a polish. I'll never let something like that happen to the S.

And the moral of this story is......Wash the bird shit off your car as soon as you see it.

Yep, anything of this nature (bird-shit, tree sap, etc) should be removed ASAP. Not necessarily an entire car wash as sometimes time doesn't permit, but at least the crap itself.
