I personally save mine for fun in the sun and weekend thrashing. If I subjected it to the daily abuses of Los Angeles I am afraid it would be destroyed in a few years. My '96 Accord Coupe EX is a mass of door dings and paint chips despite my best efforts to take care of it.
I can't let that happen to the Stook!

Same here. I drive it on nice summer evenings and weekends. I'm not so paranoid about the commuting part.....I'm more worried about leaving it out during work. Some of the emloyees cars get keyed here once in a while......to me, it's not worth the headache and worry.

Mine is just a fun car, but sometimes I take it to work when the weather is nice like today - 50s and sunny here. Crappy Richmond roads + 26 mile commute to work (one-way) = 86 Integra beater car!

So far, I've had good luck except for one deep scratch on the hood next to the windshield washer nozzle from a rock thrown up from a truck in front of me.

I use it as a daily driver, except when it rains. I really enjoy my short commutes up and down these hills.

I commute in my S2000 (only 6 miles to work). The parking spots at my office are shockingly tight and I worry about door dings and scratches every day. I never street park the S2000 and it is garaged at night. When the weather gets a little better I will alternate the motorcycle into the commuting mix.

Our possessions own us, we do not own our possessions.

I use it as a daily drive, unless there are ice on the road. I'll take my Fiat out! If my girlfriend and I are going out (usually shopping), we use her Accord to haul stuff in. Also preventing from getting dings on the doors! I think almost 9 out 10 of every car in GA has dings on their doors! No respect!

Mine is safely in the garage until springtime.

My 119,000 miles GSR does just fine in the sloppy stuff.

mine is daily driven. i figure i'll only have it for a few years before i trade it in for the m3 or new nsx (price permitting) so might as well drive the hell out of it while i can. my commute to work is 2.5 miles, plus its garaged, so no worries.
