Talking One last Wash & Wax

So, I wanted to get one last good wash and wax in before I stored my baby for the winter. I knew I was gonna change out all the filters, and drain out all the fluids (I don't like putting stabilizer in, so I thought I'd put in the extra effort and make her shine.

I hope you enjoy the pics.

Before I got started, here's a few pics of my steed before the TLC.

Look at that shine!

A little soap, a lil water, and she's looking better.

Now back into the garage for the loving touch.

A look at the shine before I got started.

And now the final product: (I actually found a use for that Zaino sticker they give out)

Wait, what's that I see in the shine?

Obiligatory shot

Yeah, I'm a wash & wax wacko, but my baby sure did look good after a few coats of Zaino.

So I parked her for the winter, behind my car. One shot before I put a cover on. Isn't she purty? Oh, and my S was a bit jealous of all that attention.

very very funny!!

and congrats on the shine!
now i have to admit that my tractor got blown off with the leaf blower and thats it!! (so you easily beat the shine on my john deere!)

btw, mine doesnt get to live in the garage either... it lives in a barn.
i am not letting this post anywhere near my tractor cause it will be very jealous if it knows about this!

oh, by the way, be careful with that fuel stabilizer... mine must be getting old cause i had to blow out the fuel lines recently cause they were clogging- and i think it must have been the fuel stabilzer (cant figure out what else would have done it). maybe i didnt measure it properly.

What I meant to say was I drained out the fuel too, and ran her until it sputtered to a stop. I turned the engine over a few more times to ensure all the fuel was spent. When I swapped out the spark plugs, I shot a few drops of oil right into the cylinder (as per the Briggs/Stratton maintenance book) to keep it all happy.

I'm just impressed that you not only have a tractor, but a barn in Manhattan Beach...

That's a heck of a walk to get the tractor out!

Where I'm from that is not a tractor. It's a "riding lawmower"; trust me, I've been corrected MANY times. I was stuck with a push mower; it wasn't bad though. Nice wax job.

This is a tractor
