I would like to use this thread to get a idea of how many of us are out there.
I know many lurk and do not post much so here is your chance.
Take a moment to say hi and list mods or interesting stories about you or your car.
And also any ideas for our new club.

I'll start. I'm 36 always been a muscle car and Honda/Acura fanatic. My previous weekend warrior was a 1970 454cu Corvette.
My S2000 is a MY2000 delivered in Nov. 99 it's blk/blk. I have upgraded the sound system in my S2000 along with a Spoon X brace, RM strut tower bar, RM alloy dead pedal, interior accessories by Rick's, custom S badges by Rick's,pearl Voodoo shift knob, clear side markers, side emblem deleted, custom 3 piece mats, muz mat, aluminum dash kit.
She sits pretty much idle from December to March. She's a garage queen
Oh and my wife prefers my "retired" corvette over the S.......
I would love to see a Black hard top. Thinking about getting one myself. Was just up at Kelly's in Doylestwon on Saturday and saw a Red S2K. It was in pretty bad shape though..... I own a '01 black/Black with only a few minor mods. .... Pearl Voo doo knob and a Mingster dead petal. Anyway... count me in for anything in the area. Live in DE and am always willing to travel. I promise Jerry that I will be more organized next time..... :D
Mine is a MY2000 and a daily driver. Pretty much stock, except for Mingster Aeroscreen (only 2 of them at FallColors) and a neat round Brookstone clock for the dash!
Never had a roadster before...my fantasy car and daily driver here in the Philly west suburbs. I look forward to some informal drives and get-togethers at area scenic and/or hot spots.
Like Charlie, I am becoming a big-time Acura/Honda fan: anti-snob appeal, low cost of ownership, reliability and FUN TO DRIVE EVERY SECOND. Have had several German cars (325is, Audi, VW Cab) in the past...love the technology but hate the $$ parts/labor. Our other car is a 95 Odyssey.
[Suggestion: If your profile doesn't include your location, please tell us where y'are when you post. Also tell us what type of stuff you would like to do...may still be a chance to get something together at the end of the month. Ideas?]
Ok, name's Matt. I'm 23, so I'm a young buck. I'm a big Honda fan. I'm on my 4th Honda right now. I've owned a '92 Prelude SI, '99 Prelude, '00 Red S2000 and now my '01 Spa Yellow S2000. Even though I drive a Japanese made car, I work for the most pro-American company, Harley Davidson. It's a great place to work and I couldn't be happier. I'm thinking about buying a Buell next spring, they give us good deals on bikes so what the hell?
I love my S2000. The only thing I could complain about is the legroom (I'm 6'3"). I like to think it's worth the little bit of sacrifice to drive such a great car though. You may be wondering why this is my second S2000. Well, I bought the red one and just turning 22 and still paying on my '99 Lude I got a crappy loan (12%). Anyway, they came out with the yellow in 2001 and I always wanted a spa yellow NSX, so what's the next best thing? A Spa Yellow S2000!!!! So needless to say I traded in the red for the yellow and actually made out good because the money I saved in finance charges by getting a loan with 5% lower interest I pretty much only lost a thousand or so and I have another new car! Plus I have a clock and windscreen for whatever that's worth. I definately like the yellow more than the red. It's the "look at me I want attention" color. Definately gets me a lot of looks and compliments as well as everybody wants to race and the cops love me as well. It's all part of the fun though.
Like Jerry, I led a group at the Fall Colors meet. I've been to both the spring meet and the fall meet now. The spring meet (April 7th)was the day after I took delivery of the yellow (April 6th), so that was interesting being in the break in period still.
Just a side note, I used to put about 13-14k miles on my Prelude a year. Well, it's been 7 months and I have 11k on the S2000 so go figure. It seems like I spend a lot more time driving around just for fun. Any excuse to put the top down and go for a drive on some nice windy roads. Unfortunately, soon it will be time to put her away for the winter. I'm looking for a beater car as we speak, trying to find something humorous for less than $1000 that I can safely drive in bad weather. Besides, I don't like driving the S2000 when the engine is cold and don't have the patience to sit and let it warm up.
Anyway, here she is! Slammed to the ground. Note: car is no longer at this ride height for obvious reasons
H&R coilovers
Spoon X Brace
Rick's yellow/black console cover
Black chrome emblems
~no future plans for modifying, just working on paying the car off and saving my $ for other things right now
my name is also Matt, i'm also 23 and even though i drive a japanese car, i work for another symbol of America, GM. I am an electrical engineer who graduated from Lehigh in 2001. F20C was my group leader at Fall Colors. I also drive a Spa Yellow S, pretty much stock except for a K&N filter. I also have a modified VW jetta for my daily driver. A lot of the execs at GM give me a hard time about my car choices, regardless of the fact that i get a hefty GM discount. I tell them that the only car i would take from them is the Z06, and my discount is not so good on that one.
Hi there everyone... My name is Paul, I'm 33 and I live in Delaware. I previously owned a Black 98 Prelude but traded it in for a black '01 S2000. Actually I was just only at the dealer looking around while I got my oil changed when I bought it. I'm kind of a caual dresser most of the time, you know jeans T-shirt baseball hat and don't forget my Converse high tops. Well I just wanted to take a peek at the S2000 in the show room just to see it in person. The "look over" I got from the salesman was hilarious. I told him I wanted a test drive of the S2000 and he looked me up and down and said "umm we don;t really do that". We need to work out some numbers first... Well we "worked out the numbers", I got my test drive and I ended up bringing my prelude over as soon as it was finished and drove out in mynew black S2000 3 hours later. That was in June. I just turned 15000 miles on her. Have had a blast every mile... Hope to see you all soon.
Here goes. My name is Ken. I have a red/blk '00 with the full OEM body goodies kit. It was two years old this past weekend and I have 6000 miles on it.
My mods are a set of a/d/s 236i speakers with a soundstream lil wonder amp, and an eclipse head.
Console cover and shift boot from Rick, and wheel badges. A VooDoo spun Al shift knob. RM dead pedal, Muz mat. European OEM badges and wheel locks.
Spoon X-brace and Neusped STB. Mingster's air filter.
I have owned at least one Honda since '79 When I bought my first Prelude.
Hey everyone, I went to U of D and my parents live in the Wilmington area. You can check my profile for interests. I still have friends up there so thats why we hang out in Newark sometimes.
I grew up in Northern Virginia though and moved back here when I was able to. I got a job at a small communications company and have been here for 3 years. I like this area and the proximity to DC, but I hate the traffic and miss the twisty roads in the Brandywine area!
I love my car, thats why I just bought a beater truck for bad weather. It's a 90' Izuzu pickup and it cost me another $400 the other night when the cat went.
Here's a picture that Matt (F20c) took of my car at Fall Colors:
