On a 2000 or 2001 it is near the passenger's feet. On other models it is near the driver's feet.

No, because I have an 02. Just stick your head into the passenger footwell and look up. You should find it.

It's above and a little towards the passenger seat from where the storage net is attached on the tunnel side of the passenger side footwell. It's just inside the edge of where the dash plastic ends in this area. Stick your head next to the net and look up, and towards the rear of the car you should see it.

00-01 Models are on the passenger side of the console, just like the picture above.

02 and newer cars are on the driver's side, of the console.

If you look at the bottom cover of the steering column there are written directions where to find the OBDII ALDL/diagnostic port.
