Default just installed Axial Shortshifter

haven't driven yet. install was easy, but a little cramped.

initial feel is unreal. like pure mechanics. will update after a drive.

Just installed mine also . Didn't think it would get here before Christmas, but after all the relatives left for the evening found the box sitting on the shelf - apparently my brother picked up the mail while I was cooking and forgot to tell me . Took all of 10 minutes to install, real simple. The throws feel great - we'll see tomorrow. Next step will be getting rid of stock knob and going with a countersunk. Much thanks to Rick's for shipping on-time!

MAN, you can't believe this thing until you try it. I can't really say anything more than RED mx5 or the other guys. i just second everything they said and give it 2 huge thumbs up. it's like driving nothing else i've ever experienced. the SS with the digital tach make it seriously like an arcade game. the flick/shifts are like turning on a light switch. no uncertainty at all in the gearbox.

1 issue though. there is a low level metallic rattle at certain speeds. RP or red mx5, can someone please give me some advice on how to make it go away? will more lube help since i didn't have much to use during install? i screwed everything down tight. thanks, RP, red mx5, Rick, Jeff for shipping it out and amazingly getting it here before Christmas.

today is a good day...

actually, my voodoo knob feels too low and it takes much more effort than the stock knob. in short, it's too short, imo.
