Default New top replaced on my MY 2000

Just thought any of you early model S2K owners out there who needs there top replaced would like to know about this:

Dean Hillman
Prices Custom Auto Trim
325 N. Federal Hwy
Delray Bch FL 33483
561-278-8434

replaced my oem (rubbery top w/ the dreaded I can't see out my rear plastic window) with a black cloth glass (I can see now!) rear window. He used the same top used on the Ferrari spyders. He is the same person who replaces all of the tops for the Delray Honda Dealer. Go to him and you cut out the middle man. He cost considerably less than what any Honda Dealer had quoted me.

He did an A+ job for me.

It was around 800 for the entire black top and 550 for the install. That was for the black cloth top with glass. I'm sorry but I dont know what the motors cost or the frame. Both of those things were fine on my S.

Sounds Awesome. Did you have to purchase the additional hardware, i.e defrost for the glass window that replaced your plastic window. MOst important, do you have any pics. Thank you !

LHP_Sailor1P - yes - around $1350 for my setup. Far below the $2200 + I had been quoted by others.

Santo - I will try to get some pix within the next day or two.

No addtl hardware. As far as the defroster goes - I do not have it connected since the MY2000 didnt have it. I guess I will have to add that to my to do list.
