thanks, there was a metal piece that the throttle cable rested on that I had to take off. Fits nice a snug. I padded the can just in case it bumps around and hits the brake reserviore piping.

what does the oil catch pan do? catch oil? can someone elaborate

catch can catches the vapor that goes from the head to the intake manifold. supposedly helps from the oil buildup over the years. its pretty much a cleanup mod that looks bling in the engine bay
