Believe that the 2003 model year was the last year produced at the Takanezawa, Tochigi plant. MY 2004 onwards are produced at the Suzuka, Mie plant.

You can tell where a Honda is built from the 11th position of the VIN number (the last alpha character before the 6 digit serial number)

S = Suzuka, Mie, Japan
T = Tochigi, Tochigi, Japan

 

hmmm, I thought it was sometime in between the my04 year as I remember there being a stop in production for a mt or 2 which coincided with a train derailment that had a few s2ks on board.

btw, I'm #108 and my last letter on the vin is a T

Hmm, I thought that all '04s were Tochigi, and only with the 05s did they come from Suzuka.

 

I believe it was sometime during 04. Mine was from April 04 and was built in Tochigi.

 

Move was mid 04.

 

I have MY04 #3888 and it has a T.....got the car in April '04.

 

I have a March build date and a T.
