I felt sorry for this guy. I heard that CF front lip drag several times... Sounded expensive!

It was nice of these guys to invite us along, but honestly I think I'll stick with the Miata guys next time. The route was relatively boring except for a 2 mile stretch in the second half. It seemed like they only wanted to go "fast" when there was a straightaway... and it was generally faster than I felt comfortable driving. I prefer spirited driving where the joy is in the corners, and where the risk of an expensive ticket is minimal.

Additionally, many of the roads were in terrible condition. It's too bad someone didn't do some reconnaissance first.

Anyway... I don't want it to sound all bad. Overall, it was nice to get out and enjoy the weather, and there were some very nice cars to look at. I'm glad the NSX club invited us along.

Thanks for posting the pics!

Paint protection. Definitely needed it today. After the drive, I found 2 new paint chips and 1 new windshield chip... and I was actually trying to hang back from the car in front of me.

Heh... I just noticed something. Apparently, Hondas/Acuras are allergic to front plates, because the Porsche & the G35 are the only two cars that have 'em.

Hehe, that's mine. After the Hill country in October I was extra cautious. Peeled right off quite easily. I got it courtesy of the Collision Center.

I agree with mxt_77 on the drive. They only seemed to want to go "fast" on a straight section. I found myself putting along the route. I found myself laying back just so I can enjoy the corners. The road quality was as I expected (thus the tape). Still kind of the NSX crew to let us come along.
