Default Rubber Nubs Wearing on the Pedals?

Have any of you guys notice that the rubber nubs are wearing out on the pedals?
If so, how many miles are you at? Was wondering about the durability on those. Also can anyone with excessive wear please take a picture and post what mileage
this started happening?
I had received this question from a Honda engineer so I thought this would be a good place to post it.
Thanks!

A little OT but, is the gas pedal supposed to have the rubber nubs? I just purchased a new 05 and it doesn't have em on the gas pedal.

Negative. Mine doesnt ahve it either. Odd that they put it on clutch and brake but not gas. Im just happy we have the aluminum pedals and not some typical crappy rubber pedals that Honda gives USDM cars. Oh and they bothered to include a nice dead pedal too. =-)

Your foot is supposed to be able to slip on the gas pedal, so the action will be smooth.
