Default Shocks/springs finally installed!

Looks really good, just what I wanted. Makes the s2k look much more aggressive in my opinion. It is already a lot lower than stock. I doubt it will lower too much more over the next week or two. I will get pictures later on tonight after I clean up a little. The ride also feels a lot better. It is definitely stiffer. In some instances it seems bouncier, while others stiffer. Going over larger bumps, like speed bumps, give you more of a bounce. Going over small bumps like deflectors seem much smoother. When stock, going over deflectors sounded like my car was going to break. Haven't been able to take any sharp turns yet because I had so much crap in my trunk, but the twisties will come!

Here it is, about 4hrs after installation. How much lower do they tend to drop?
My side skirts are about 4.5" from the ground

I would be terrified of hitting any bumps or holes.

mang, that's low. are the shocks on the lowest perch?

If you can, show some shots of the whole car.

Koni yellows/Espelir springs. Lowest perch for the shocks. And yes, I my car was scraping all over the place today. But I also went down a lot of steep driveways etc. My bumper doesn't really scrape anymore than it used to. But those mud flap things hit everything. I may just take them off. Don't know what they do anyways. I read somewhere on here that they aren't mud flaps because they are infront of the tires. That they are for better aerodynamics. My guess is that they block some splashing water or debris from hitting your tires? Dunno. Anyways, I will get better pics today. It's amazing how much smaller my car looks now that it's lowered.
Also, I have the Koni's set on the firmest setting. Not good for highway and street driving! I'll save that for the track. I am going to try out the softest setting tomorrow. Then the next day I should be able to find a happy medium for street driving.

Here are the pics... sorry for such a dirty car!

As you can see here, the flaps infront of the tires are lower than the width of my phone.

And my phone's width is less than 2in!!!

waaay low, but it looks good.
keep your fronts softer than your rears and it'll help your handling.

Never knew that. Is there a reason?

Way too low and it will get a bit lower for sure as time goes by. Those mud flaps in front of the tires direct air out of the path of your tires at high speeds . It aids in aerodynamics to prevent uplift and more importantly stablity at high speeds, leave them on.
