Thumbs down My New AEM V2 has a drain hole.... (Pics)

After opening my AEM V2 today (Thanks, Evasive!), I started to install and realized that there is now a hole drilled out where the elbow bends up (lowest point) after the filter... !!

There is a "duckbill valve" that apparently gets stuck into this hole, although I can't see how the water that may build up can get out...??

Maybe I need to trim the bottom to allow water to drip out??

Anybody elses come like this?

Sweet!!

kind of confirms the design flaw. i wonder if it sucks dirty air through the slit. it's not as tight as a filter

i used to have a comptech and i switched to the V2 about a month ago.
i like the intake. it's louder than the comptech and i think it works a little bit better.
the butt dyno says it make more power and on the dyno it made more torque and more power across the entire power band...at some points it made about 5-6 more hp. but peak power barely changed. see dyno graphs below.

with AEM V2 intake and T1R exhaust w/ test pipe
