My friend just purchased a WRX (midnight black pearl) and has already put almost 500 miles on it. i finally got him to race me but he said not from a stop because he has had no practice in launching an AWD car.. so i said okay.. we raced about 4-5 times from a roll and i pulled on him between 2-3 cars every time...and from a stop i heard the s2000 just annihilates the WRX... after all AWD with 227 horsepower = BOG ..BOOST LAG.. BOG.... oh well we'll have to see later.. thanks for reading, peace

Nice races. The WRX should be a little faster after broken in. Are you sure about going against them from a stop would be better? AWD meaning instant traction=1 car jump on you from the start.

I haven't race a WRX from a stop yet, 2 times on a roll. But I played with many many S4 before, and most of them were from a stop. The results are very similar, 1-1.5 car of the launch, even or .5 car by the end of first. Passing them in 2nd (2nd gear is where u make your $$), and whatever I gained in second will likely to stay all the way through the end. 3rd gear seem to be dead even, neither will gains.

Bro...you are high...your chances at a rolling start are way better than off the line. The S2K should pull hard.....I mean really hard on a WRX over 60mph.......the great 0-60 times they get are from dumping the clutch at 5k rpms with AWD.

In all the videos I've seen, a RWD car just can't launch as hard as an AWD car. The difference between an EVO 7 and an NSX from a dead start is unbelievable.

An NSX will beat out an EVO7. An NSX is about as fast as an R34 GTR. Not from a stop mind you, but from a roll...
