Default S2K bites the dust - literally

Most of you must know by now, but our East Coast trip this weekend ended in disaster when K2K (Khaled to us all) met with a driver who did not know how to drive at 120+ km/h.

In a bid to save the driver, the S and himself and friend Michel he lost control of the car, went flying into the dirt, which was all fine until he met a ditch which sent the car flipping in the air and the ground for a total of 5-7 times!

It was a horrific site and I am sure I speak for everyone when I say our hearts skipped a beat when we saw the wreckage. Luckily both guys were able to walk away with cut, bruises and a fractured rib for Michel.

Needless to say the 00-03 AP1 guys decsended like vultures and stripped it faster than you can say "spank me on the ass and call me daisy". Yeah Ok, the 'other' 04 guy took a couple of things as well!

Well anyway, we're all happy that Khaled and Michel are fine - coz if you'd seen the wreckage, you would've thought otherwise:

Glad everyone is ok! I think in a situation like that a banged up S2000 is the best result that could have been hoped for in that situation.

The S is a pretty safe car it looks to me as I've seen sever accidents already by pictures and the guys mostly all walked away with no injuries.

Glad your friends are alright!

Glad everyone was ok. That had to be a scary ride while it was flipping.

I see shit captain :-)

BTW> you forgot to mention that the passanger left the car during the first flip and that the driver has only VERY minor scratches on his left shoulder from the flying stones. If the passanger would wear a seat belt, he would be helping us stripping the car!
