Default Slim Sub

A while back I recall some one (ruckus?) posting info on a very slim high quality sub woofer.

Any one recall it or can suggest one!?

I'm thinking of freeing up some boot space and putting one under the carpet in the passenger foot well.

I know this has been done before and I know there is a foam wedge under there I can replace with an enclosure.

Any one any good with fibre glass?

GRP isn't difficult to DIY IIRC from a boat article I read a while back (it wasn't about building a boat - just making some vents fittings c 6 x 6 inches)

That Alpine one is not really powerful enough and it would let down the rest of my ICE

if you go onto http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/ have a look about for a slim sub, i have seen a few, very straight forward to use GRP, you buy enough and give it a couple of goes.

it would need to be a well designed box to give the best results, sealed or a long thin port would be good.

If you gave me measurements i could have a build in ply to see what i came up with, then use it as a template for the GRP.
