Default I'm officially an idiot!

I was going back to the freggin dealership today to finish up some paperwork , and as I pulled into the parking spot, GRAAAKK!!!

I was going to cry - I've had the car for not even 3 days.
So besides a visible scratch and what looks like a beard from all the scraping on the bottom of the bumper, could I have bent the "mounting points" where the bumper bolts onto the car, deforming the front end?

How much should it cost to repaint it? How much does a full replacement go for anyway?

I'm so stupid I'm so stupid I'm so stupid

But that makes the car even lower,, and though I like the look, I prefer the car without it. It looks really clean IMHO without it. Can anyone point me to the possibility of damage / deformation? I see some of the "looping plastic parts" near the screws are broken, but I don't know if that was from this or the previous owner.

Also, I don't know if this is normal, but not all mmy screws are the same height. Two are higher than the other 3. forming a M when you look at it from straight on.

Jeezus. Stop obsesssing. It's fine!

....... Or it's not. No really it's probably fine with a little curb rash under the chin. We all did it when we first got it. Then did it again after we quit being so careful. I haven't done any damage yet in the last 18 months. Nothing you can see unless you look from down low.

Sorry to hear that. That oughta' be on the FAQ list for new owners. I'm going to add it.

I guess.. but:

Could anyone enlighten me on the screw heights though? It might be just me, but it looks weird not being all level to each other.

Also anyone break those "plastic loops" near the screws? Those loops seem pointless..

I'd answer if I knew what screws and loops you're talking about.

I mean the screws on the bottom of the bumper, if you look under, you see a bunch of screws holding the bottom of the bumper to some mount under the car methinks.

Near those screws, tehre's like plastic "loops". They're more like holes in the plastic bumper. All but one are broken on my bumper, and I was wondering about that.

I ask because I'm concerned about deformation of the front bumper.. Even though I know it's supposed to be flexible. Logically the only non-flexible part would be the mounting points, which is why I'm asking..

Edit: If it isn't too much hassle, and if someone knows their front bumper is normal, can they post a pic? My camera is out of battery at the moment, but I'll try doing so if no one posts a pic.. Thanks in advance.
