Default Glass Rear Window with defogger in MY2002

Edmunds is stating: "For 2002, Honda has added a glass rear window with a defroster, an improved transmission and a more powerful audio system. There are also a handful of minor changes that only '00-'01 S2000 owners would notice, such as chrome-bezel taillights, an upgraded center console, door panel net storage pockets, a new shifter knob, an aluminum-accented foot rest and silver trim interior accents. There's also a new color for 2002: Suzuka Blue." Is this rear window claim accurate? I've seen no other threads on this. Can '00 and '01 be retrofitted? Any info would be appreciated.

No offense, i see you're new, but this has been discussed to death over the past 8 months. Search for glass rear window and you'll have yourself about a million threads.

Sorry...did search earlier and found little. I'll try again and look deeper.

Still found nothing useful. Could someone be kind enough to give me a quick summary of the last 8 months and 1 million threads.

The answer is: The entire top would have to be replaced which would be very costly. But its possible.

The 2002's do indeed have glass rear windows... and all the other random and sundry stuff Edmunds said.

Thanks for the synopsis...appreciate the help. I did find it odd only getting back few threads on such a popular topic. Anyway, thanks again.

I seem to find, you need to be very specific to find what you're looking for. Even better, searching by Composer of the thread will be more accurate however once again ... It is quite time constraining.
