Cooling Mods Do These Really Help?
Radiator Cap
Fan Switch
Cooler Thermostat
Intake Manifold gasket
Are these JDM hype one or all or are they dyno proven? I am willing to do one and all if there is legitimate feedback that these are better for the engine and increase power

Radiator Cap - I don't consider this to be "cooling" mod. Maybe I'm missing something here. An aftermarket rad cap holds more pressure or holds pressure better. That means that the cooling system has to get HOTTER before it does any good. So what's this got to do with the system running "cooler"? If your other mods make it run cooler, then you don't need a cap that holds at higher temps.
Fan Switch - This might be useful for those times when the system gets a real workout and your road speed is not condusive to lots of airflow through the rad.
Cooler Thermostat - Watch out just how cool of a setting on this thing you get. If you get it too cool, then in certain times of the year, your engine may never get up to the proper operating temp.
Intake Manifold gasket - If you don't use the car in really cold weather, this may be a very good item to have. It can play havoc with your cold temp idle.
PS. I should have asked .................. When you ask if these "help". With reference to what are you hoping they'll help? Do you have a situation that requires the intervention of these mods?

They don't exactly increase HP, they make the motor run cooler when it gets hot therefore perventing heat soak and loss of HP. I have Mugen Tstat, Fan Switch, and Hondata gasket that I haven't installed yet so this is not from personal experience.
The radiator cap point is a good one. I was considering these other mods though. The thermostat and fan swith? I don't know how much cooler they will make the car run.
Is it like 1-segment cooler on the display?

F1, you live in SoCal so I think you'll be fine. I have the same mods, I live in FL (where the temp never drops below 40, usually above 65) and the mods are great. They will not increase your peak hp, but will make sure that you're making more power when you're running in warm climates. The t-stat can be a bit of a hassle if you have to start up when it's very cold outside, but as long as you're only using the car in nice weather, these are great mods to have, esp if you're in a lot of city driving or in long lines at the strip.
i had the above mentioned mods on my 04 civic ex 5sp. that car had DC RH,aem sri and mugen cooling mods and it put 132.4whp on a mustang dyno. i would say that help out, then may not make 30whp, but they really do help prevent heat-soak.
Is there more than one thermostat choice? I agree you want to be at 4 bars or segments just to be running safe. Will the thermostat and fan switch really reduce two segemnts off your temp reading?
Where do you all see your temperature range (how many bars or segments during town driving)?
