Default Track checklist...

Outside of the obvious items, (helmet, gloves, suit, shoes) I put together a very short list due to my ignorance:

-torque wrench
-motor oil
-brake fluid
-jack(oem)
-blue masking tape
-spare tire(donut-oem)
-water bottles
-tools
-a female hottie to keep you happy on the way to the track, and to cheer for you while on the track

Fold-up chairs, camera, pen/paper, golf umbrella or EZUp tent, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, jackstands, tire pressure gauge, airtank, stopwatch...

There was a pretty good checklist on the SpeedVentures website at one time, but I can't find it today.

Always listen to what the organiser has to say and drop the ego..

most ppl crash or get into trouble because they do not listen.

They often offer you good tips on how to get yourself out of trouble and for example:

On corner exit...if you feel like you're just going to eat the dirt......straighten your steering wheel and go into the dirt.

Do NOT go into the dirt with your steering wheel turned because once 1 tire is off the tarmac, the other on the pavement will hook your car towards wherever your steering wheel is pointed (wall, fence, people, corner workers) and I've seen 2 cars get totalled this way.

Always listen to advanced driver's driving tips =)

Good mention. ^^^It should go without saying^^^, but I'm anticipating a few Senna wanna bees. No ego here. I want to learn, have fun, and come home in one piece. Both car and driver.
