Default Well I guess I'll introduce myself

JerryIII mentioned in a different thread that I should introduce myself to the forum, even before buying an S2K.

Well I wasn't going to buy one until next month because these next few weeks will suck at work but... today at 3pm I picked up an 06 white S2K with 8 miles on it for 33.6 OTD. I love the car so far, even though I haven't driven it hard yet.

Well she has about 165 miles on it now and I'm heading to south florida tomorrow to help a buddy with his ITR motor so it should be broken in soon

Anyways, most of my honda experience comes from the Integra Type-R world, some Civic/CRX hybrid stuff also. I am an admin on Honda-Acura.net and an admin on ITRCA.com. I tend to participate in a number of track days/HPDE's and used to do quite a bit of autocrossing (and plan to get back into it again). I also have been an organizer of the past 4 ITR Expos and the www.we-todd-did-racing.com Expo.

I'm sure I'll meet some of you as time goes on, and probably a number of you next weekend at the Grand Prix (assuming my shitty work week doesn't overflow to the weekend!).

Yeah yeah, I know, this thread is worthless without pics.

It's a bit too late to go take some but I'll either post them tomorrow from South Florida or when I get back into town on sunday.

Congrats on the purchase and welcome

It sounds like you are bringing quite a bit of experience to this forum.

You will find that we have many many events and mod sessions. I hope to meet you at the Grand Prix!

Welcome Dave!!!!

I am not sure abput the AP2's but dont dog that engine until like 1500 miles or something like that. The engine needs a break in period from what I have read. Do a little reading/searching in the under the hood section before really get on that car.

Enjoy the car, I wish mine was up and running
