Default seat lowering

I have read the various links re seat lowering on the site and the modification approach sounds like a bit of a one way process after hammering the seat base and the optional seat runner from Taitec (science of speed website) looks good but I can't find a UK supplier on the web and the cost is a lttle worrying in dollars and I assume that if I ship here the number will be the same but with a pound sign! It would also require a new seat.
Questions

Can the Honda seat be mounted on the Taitec rails?
Are there any alternative rails supplied in the UK?
If I bought another seat I would like it to be reasonably comfortable (I am 6ft2 and have a 40" waist) and work with the standard seatbelts does anybody have any recommendations?
Has anybody decided to sell their car and want to sell on their seat /rail combo?
Any guidance on making the seat positioning lower or more comfortable

Thanks checking this thread out

Graham

I dont think so. The Taitec rails are desined for bucket seats but the S2000 seats are hinged and the hinge is part of the Honda rail. I couldn't find a way of buying the Taitec rails in the UK

None I could find. I had a lot of problems getting hold of rails and ended up importing directly from Japan.

Have a look at Recaro SP-Gs. These have been a popular install in the S.

I got some Buddy Club ones but they a are a bit on the narrow side (wife only discovered last week that I had changed the seats )

They do rails for their bucket seats which are very nice but *very* expensive.

Hi Graham

Did you ever lower your seat? If so how?

Cheers
