I took some of your advice and found a place to get my V-AFC retuned.
First of all my base line dyno run got me 196 hp.
my new settings (did them myself cause I don't trust anybody anymore so please no flaming) are as follows:
wide open throttle:
LVT HVT
1000 0 5700 -1
2000 0 6200 -2
3000 0 6600 -3
4100 -2 7000 -5
4600 -3 7400 -6
5100 -3 7800 -7
5600 -4 8400 -8
5900 -4 9000 -6

VTEC Lo-Hi 5900 Hi-Lo 5700

V/T unmt HI<<LO +5% LO<<HI +5%

Throttle LO 10% HI 50%

NEP LVT HVT
NE1 1000 5700
NE2 2000 6200
NE3 3000 6600
NE4 4100 7000
NE5 4600 7400
NE6 5100 7800
NE7 5600 8400
NE8 5900 9000

If these aren't right I don't know WTF. I got 208 rwhp with these settings. Car feels different too. I think hp. figures posted before were bogus. I just took the numbers given to me by the guy I bought the car from. I think these are a little more reasonable. The numbers seem to match up a little better to me too. BTW I don't remember the exact weather figures this day but the temp was around 75 degrees and the humidity was up there. I think these sound like pretty good numbers. what do you guys think?

What about your narrow throttle settings? Just messin'. I'm actually testing out my narrow throttle settings to see if leaning out a bit gets better gas mileage; since I drive to work every day in rush hour traffic. So far in my tests the answer is "yes". I'll post more when I have actual numbers (trying to finish a full tank of gas).

Few things I want someone to explain. With your narrow throttle set at 10% and wide set at 50%, what does the system think you are at when you're at 11%-49% throttle? The tuner set mine to 45% / 50%, just curious why yours and mine are so different.

I also don't understand what the V/T unmt HI<<LO +5% LO<<HI +5% does. Mine was set to -2%/0%, but I don't think it should be set at anything since VTEC was technicaly not changed (6K). I've also heard different RPM values for what people think our VTEC is. I've heard anything from 5800 to 6200. I've also been told that it's a transition, from 5800-6000. If you look at stock dynos you can see the transition starting at 5800 and ending about 6000. So is setting the VTEC to 5800 or 6000 setting it to the "stock" value? My car made much less power at 5800, than 6000...just want to make sure that my V/T unmt is set correctly.

I'm sure people will argue this so I'm going to say I think so as not to start a flame. I think,( ) stock VTEC is 6100 rpms. I have mine set to 5700 and 5900 because my low cam peak hp was at about 5800 rpms. As for all of you questions, I dunno. I just left everything I wasn't sure about alone. Like I said, I tuned this myself cause I really don't trust anybody else in my area. I would love to know what all this stuff means though. BTW Wes, I want your car

Those setting look very reasonable!
The only ones that seem a little strange are the V/T unmatch (here we go again) j/k.
If you put the car in second gear and get the engine to 6200 rpm, the V-AFC should have the VTEC ON but the ECU will have it OFF. Hold this speed (steady state) and listen to the exhaust note. My guess is you will hear missing and weird sh!t.
Give it a try, if the exhaust doesn't sound right, then we're on the same page and we'll go from there.

So, RT, what do you think about my 2%/0% setting, does that seem OK?

I've got mine set at some high-ish negative numbers (can't remember the exact #'s). Try the 6200 rpm in second gear thing (holding speed) and see if the car misses.
I'll go look at my setting

Wes, if you want to use your narrows you should lower the 45% setting to get it away from the 50% setting.

I didn't follow you here, at all.

At 0% throttle there is still correction, shows up on the display, -1.
