Wednesday, then never again in your lifetime.
On Wednesday, at two minutes and three seconds after 1:00 in the morning, the time and date will be:
01:02:03 04/05/06.
This will never happen again in your lifetime.

Well, not really.
That's only because of our back-asswards way of doing dates. In a more rational system, like the Europeans use, it's NOT MM/DD/YY but rather "in order" as DD/MM/YY.
In which case it happens on May 4.

After we beat this horse to death, we can revive the discussion of what day the 21st Century started on, 1/1/00 or 1/1/01 (at least those dates aren't written ambiguously!). HPH
Based on our calendar starting with the year 1AD, 1/1/00 would be illogical, captain!
Two chances to party. Why not party on both rather than fight about which one is the "right" one?
It's all arbitrary silliness anyway. Do you adjust for daylight savings time and time zones? What time zone is the "real" time zone?

The Brits are pretty convinced it's GMT.
However, we still have a slight problem. The sequence will indeed be on 4th May but we are now in BST (British Summer Time) which I think you in the colonies call Daylight Saving Time, so we are now one hour in advance of GMT.
If we are to celebrate the moment, should it be at BST or GMT?
Ah!, life has so many problems!
