Default Speedcraft Turbo Dyno, Part II

We tuned it at John (Vaportrails) shop last night, and I got the images digitally so you can see them a bit better than my horrible scanned images before. Hopefully these'll speak a bit to the 'holy-hell'-ness of the kit. SondraS2K's car gets to be the baseline dyno.. hope you don't mind, Sondra. Also, just a note here, these dynos were NOT open-header dynos, so although the same number as before was reached (334), I've got the exhaust on this time. I don't necessarily know that it's robbing any power persay, but I'm basically saying any power that it DID rob was offset by the V-AFC tuning.

Stock versus the turbo:

My 3 boost settings: Off (4.2psi), Lo-Boost (~5psi), and Hi-Boost(8.8psi). Check out the difference just 4 psi makes. Also note how much leaner the Hi-Boost setting is in the bottom graph (Air-Fuel).

And one more image of the Hi-Boost, couple of runs doing a little bit of V-AFC twiddling.

Hope these helped, and as always feel free to ask any questions (I'd prefer them in this thread though, I get about 10 million "tell me about your turbo" PMs a day ). Thanks guys-

cd

These look like they've been heavily photoshopped to me. I think you're trying to fool us.

Dudes, look at the HUGE dip in power at low rpms. This kit is a joke I'm sending it back, it's worthless. It's like 10 ft pounds less at 1500 rpms, wtf?

Plus, the HP drops to just about zero at the top end.

I noticed that your power drops off at the top, mine climbs right through redline.

I got a question for you two guys, I know that you don't have the exact same setup on the cars...can you list the differences.

Mechanically, I believe it is an identical set-up. Same turbo, same IC, same BOV, same wastegate, same exhaust, same FMU, same boost controller. I think our only differences are the name brand on the gauges... Chris has Apexi and I have Greddy. Actually our cars are almost identical in every way except Chris's has around 30K miles on it and I'm still under 20K.
