Yep, I know the feeling.

I had my tonsils removed last year, I think it was. I couldn't eat for 2 weeks, my throat hurt to much. I lost about 15lbs by the time I could physically eat / drink again and I'm not very heavy to begin with (6 foot and about 145lbs)

In the end though, it is usually for the better

Went in Thursday evening April 29 2004 for liver transplant surgery, Transplant took place 2 am to 6 am Friday, Up and walking Saturday May 1st, went home on Tuesday 4th, walked up the stairs and into the house at 2PM.

I know the feeling. It'll get better! In fact I wish I did the other knee too but now its too late and I don't have the time to spare for recovery.

they didnt give you pain killers??

get some tylenol #3, its got codeine, that might help.
