Default New Soft Top for MY01- Which Brand

Hi everyone. I'm finally ready to purchase a new otp my for MY01 to have a glass rear window. It used to be there was just the OEM top, but now there's several brands out there. I'm specifically interested in the Carbioworld top.

I searched and got a random mess of threads, so I figure I'll start my own topic.

What I'm looking for are reveiws of the any non-OEM soft-tops, especially the Cabrioworld Canvas top- to include appearance, fit, and cleaning/maintaing.

Thanks in advance

So you can get non-oem tops now? Sweet! I was thinking about getting a white MY04 and getting a tan top to match the leather. Any links?

Kramer, did you get a glass window?
Do you just wrap the new top and glass window over your existing frame? And do you use that "strap method" to prevent from breaking the glass upon folding as you do with an 02+ top?

Yes I got the glass rear window, no defrost. Yes you use the same frame and it comes with the straps needed to allow the top to fold down differently. Also when you put this top on, you want to take off the center snaps for the tonneau cover as they limit the ability of the top to fold down all the way, keeping the glass from being able to lie flat all the way down.

I had to get the vinyl top. My top was cut from a break-in and the canvas stayfast was on backorder for over a month. I had nowhere to store the car safely and securely so I just had to get the vinyl. The vinyl still seems to be better quality than the OEM. It seems to be thicker.

i also got the cabrio world top and had it installed last October. It's a great top. I got the stayfast canvas w/ the glass window. It's a great fit w/ good quality fabric. Better than OEM IMO.
