Default the infamous clicking problem! edit:SOLVED

i've read up on this many times, and the search is a piece of crap so i need your help if you have this in your favorites.

i have this clicking issue near the rear of my car, mostly whenever i'm at a stop and then i start going and taking a right/left turn. i have a feeling it's something with the diff? i forgot... anyways, i'm sure most of you OG S2K owners know what i'm talking about.

isn't there a honda "whatchamacallit" bulletin print out thingy i can take to honda for them to fix this?

btw: i'm a 2001 under 30k miles thanks

EDIT!!!

That product fixed my problem. I no longer have the "clunk clunk" sound.

If you want brand name, J's also sells this identical product which is actually a little better quality but for $220. I personally would have purchased the J's if I knew beforehand. Oh well, good luck to all!

Could be your axle nut. Needs to be re-torqued to 220lbs. If that doesn't fix it, might be your dif, or even just something as simple as brake pads moving around.

Hope it works out for you

From your description, it sounds like it could be the CV joints.

Funny how we all have the same problem at the same time. I started the following thread a few days ago:

https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=387565

I'm trying to get this problem fixed myself. Looking for anyone with 36mm socket and torque wrench that can torque up to 220 ft-lbs. I'm still offering a twelver of your favorite beer for your trouble, so long as you enjoy one with me! There are others on that thread trying to get this fixed as well.

I'm located in Huntington Beach.
