Thumbs up Has the S2000 become an old woman's car

My wife says I drive an old woman's car. As proof she has me notice the driver of every S2000 we see. In my town there must be 5 other S2000. Everyone of them is driven by a white haired grandmother. My wife just called me from a seminar she is attending in Buena Park today. And guess what? An S2000 went by her just like mine driven by an old lady. So, I have been watching the cars on the sourthern California freeways and many of them are driven by old white haired ladys.

My wife says I will have to advertise the car in the American Associated of Retired Person's Magazine in order to sell it. I fear she is right.

Does the old lady take her S to the track?

I would never have thought the S2K would become a transport for the elderly. But I have seen too many older people driving a Corvette.

Then sourthern California is THE place to pick up a good second hand S2000

Your area of SoCal has a lot of retirees. Same with the guy from Florida. If there are mainly older, wealthier people that are there it is somewhat unavoidable cars driven by them will also be there.

Most men by retirement age cannot drive stick comfortably. Their knees hurt them and they just want to get from A to B as relaxed as possible. Note most*, this is not always the case.

Think.. your old.. your husband doesn't want to spend more than 35k on a car you probably don't even need.. this one is small, kind of 'cute' [sorry but it equalizes because more girls like the car], 4cyl, decent gas mileage, honda, super reliable, etc.

Fact is most people who buy them are 20-30 year old males.

There is one lady that I have met in Temecula who drives a Silverstone 06. She was actually really cool, so I would be proud to have part of whatever demographic she is in as part of this community.
